The success of a roof garden depends on load and water management. Calculated with the structural engineer, total load is typically 90–150 kg/m² for extensive systems and 250–450 kg/m² for intensive ones.

Things to watch
On high floors with strong wind, plants are tied in and wind breaks are placed in front of parapets. Drip irrigation is automatic with rain sensors.

Frequently asked questions
Is the site visit paid?
Within Istanbul the first site visit is free. Soil analysis and laser survey cost ₺2,500, credited when you sign a project contract.
How long does a garden project take?
For a 1,000 m² garden design takes 5–7 weeks and construction 10–16 weeks. The best planting periods are autumn and early spring.
What if plants do not establish?
Within 12 months of installation, plants that fail are replaced free of charge provided the care programme is followed. Because plants are acclimatised in our nursery, our establishment rate exceeds 97%.
Do you maintain existing gardens?
Yes. We offer monthly, seasonal and annual packages. For a 500 m² garden it is ₺9,500–16,000 per month.
Will my existing trees be kept?
Healthy mature trees are placed at the centre of the design. If removal is needed we prepare the municipal permit and a replanting plan.
