About Us
Landscape architects and agronomists

Since 2009 we have designed gardens as living systems.
Sarmaşık Landscape is a studio founded in Sarıyer in 2009 by two landscape architects and an agronomist. Today our team of 31 delivers gardens, terraces, estate and hotel landscapes across Istanbul, the Aegean and the Mediterranean.
We see plants as living systems
What makes a garden beautiful is not only how a plant looks but the balance of soil, water and light. In every project we first run soil pH and salinity tests and map the sun path and wind direction. Only then do we draw up a plant list that fits that data.
Our own nursery
In our 4-decare nursery in Silivri we grow more than 26,000 plants. Plants are acclimatised to the local climate before they enter a project, which lowers transplant shock and lifts establishment above 97%.
